I love the more subtle things to life, like the the whisper of the wings of a hummingbird, the ripple in a pool of water after a pine needle falls into it, the sense of peace after completing a large fundraining event, and the feeling in my toes after a sun salutation. I am a very goal oriented person that always has many things going at one time, yet am also a deep feeler and know when it is time to stop what I am doing to smile to my children and hear their story. Gardening is my passion, for there is an opportunity to use both my ambitious and intuitive personalities to assist in nature's tapestry of multidimensional creation.
I am one of the founders of the Noyo Food Forest, a non-profit, on the Mendocino Coast in Northern California, and started the Noyo Come-Unity Garden in Fort Bragg. I love gardening alone, but have found a deep satisfaction in community gardening. There is a wonderful feeling of being part of the human family when we all sink our hands and feet into the soil, sow seeds with love, water our gardens with care, and rejoice together in the abundance that the Mother reciprocates!
